Frequently Asked Questions

What other options are there if I don’t have my weeds pulled by hand, by the root?

While we don’t advise it, pulling lakes weeds while avoiding the root is possible. This decreases the chance for lasting, effective results.

-Weed harvesters

-Chemical methods

-Rollers and fans

Will the results last from year to year?

While there are no year-to-year guarantees, there will be a noticeable difference with each subsequent treatment. We recommend at least 3 or 4 years of consecutive service in order to ensure the best results for future years. Generally speaking, we have found that if an area is treated 2-3 times a year for 3-4 years, weeds will not grow back to the same extent in the 5th year. There will be little regrowth, enabling minimal maintenance in the future.

Do you offer a guarantee?

We guarantee no noticeable regrowth in the first two weeks. After our service, we encourage customers to simply use the lake! This stirs the lakebed and limits regrowth.

How long will it take to clear my lake front?

Projects rarely extent beyond one day, though this depends on the size of the job.

How much does it cost?

We see a wide range depending on the size of job, though most jobs land between $700 and $1,500 for the first service.
